With the opening of our new building we have changed the name of The ASPIRE programme to The Hubble Health and Well-Being Programme. Within The Hubble Health and wellbeing programme we have some returning favourites and some new and exciting sessions and groups.

 

  • Hubble Health and Wellbeing Programme starts every morning at 10.30am: For these early morning sessions please bring a drink or a bottle to fill up with water from our water cooler. It is important to stay hydrated, especially for Hut Singalong and Body Tapping.

 

  • Monday – Hubble Singalong (Delivered by Ian) – A fun and energetic way to wake yourself up on a Monday morning. Starting with warming up your vocals to then singing along to different songs every week, Hubble singalong

  • Tuesday – Laughter Journaling (Delivered by Emma) –  One of the best ways for relieving stress is laughter as it is always the best medicine. This session helps support mental wellbeing, focusing less on what makes you sad and more on what makes you happy.

  • Wednesday – Mid Week Meditation (Delivered by Tom) – Get over the hump of the week with a gentle form relaxation meaning we can focus on our wellbeing.

  • Thursday – Body Tapping (Delivered by Em) – An active session that helps build on energy levels, circulation and alleviate stress. Body Tapping is usually performed outside unless the weather has other ideas.

  • Friday – Take a Breather (Delivered by Emma – Look at different ways we can focus on our breathing and promote a positive way of thinking. This session may be inside or outside.

 

Main Sessions:

  • Monday Movement (Delivered by Ian) – Monday 11:15 – 12:15 – A gentle chair based exercise session that utilises resistance bands to really get you stretching those muscles. A great way to start the day with Ian who is sure to keep you on your toes.

  • My Journey (Delivered by Emma and Edd) – Tuesday 11.15 – 12.15 – A relaxed closed group to come together developing social skills and focus on topics of interest.

  • Lets Talk (Men’s Group, Delivered by Tom) – Tuesday 1:30 – 2:45 – A safe space for men to come together and talk about their week, their ups and downs and their mental health.
