Friday Update from Emma

Happy Friday everyone,

I hope you’ve had a good week am back from holidays refreshed and seeing the beautiful garden being in use by some people having a picnic. Thanks again to everyone who took part in making this a space for the community.

Music Education Group (MEG) treated us to an outstanding performance this week, they got everyone involved with some ukuleles, body percussion and some solo’s. Lori and her team have engaged and encouraged members throughout the many Wednesday sessions and this resulted in our African drummers who stole the show with their performance. They had practiced and pulled off a very polished performance – well done to all who took part!

Men’s lunch club is taking a break as Jonny is having a well earned rest it shall be back Tuesday 2nd July.

Our AGM will take place on Wednesday 17th July at 2pm everyone is welcome and refreshments will be provided, please come and hear about what has been happening and our vision for moving forward.
