At The Hut we are always looking for some additional revenue streams to aid our running costs and ensuring our members have the best possible time. We are offering out both of our buildings at a low price as we trial our room hire offering. In a fantastic location directly near the city centre and opposite multiple bus routes, our buildings are a fantastic place to host meetings or sessions.

The Hubble – Our new building adjacent to The Hut that offers a cosy yet sizeable space that we use for mindfulness activities, singing, lunch club, life skills groups and many other things. This can serve as a meeting room too with some of our trustee meetings hosted here.

The space is equipped with a kitchenette including an instant hot water machine. It is wheelchair accessible with a ramp leading up to the building and also includes a disabled toilet. We have a water cooler so your are every welcome to bring bottles and we provide tea and coffee. The room can be laid out however you want as we have 3 tables and 20 chairs.

The Hut – This is our main building that has served us well for over 10 years. This is a large space where we deliver the majority of our sessions. We usually have lots of arts and crafts based sessions as well as bingo and our social enterprise element to the business Hut Made where we make our own products.

This is a large spacious area that can host 30 people. 2 rooms included, The studio which is the large space with a desk, tables, chairs and portable heaters. The Vintage Snug is the other room equipped with a hot water machine, 2 sofas and a pool table that we use as just a table with high chairs around it temporarily. There is a gents toilet and a disabled toilet here and a small kitchen.

Building Capacity – 30 people

Cost £10 per hour

 

If you are interested in hiring out both buildings we will offer this service at a discounted rate of £15 per hour.
