A trip to Whitby and a gardener for The Hut

Hello everyone I hope this blog finds you well.

The weather is cooler this week, last week members of My Journey had their trip out – choosing again to go to the coast and Whitby was their choice. The bus took us on a lovely scenic tour and once we arrived, a walk to pier where we had fish and chip, afterwards some went to have a dip in the water whilst others just watched. Ice cream for some and a trip around the Dracula experience for others with sweets for the way home being grabbed before the Bus journey home where some had a little doze. A great day had by all.

My Journey will be back in September along with the launch of The ASPIRE Programme.

To help keep the Gardens outside looking good for us and the community around us.  Bill has offered to water, litter pick and do some weeding, thank you to Bill who today has his birthday – Happy Birthday from everyone at The Hut.

Last week we had Rohan with us, he came to spend the week with us to see what we do.  It was a pleasure to have him and the members enjoyed having him at The Hut. We love to have people come and see what we do, The Hut is a special place and we are never to old to learn and develop who we are, if you have some spare time, and feel you could come and support our members to learn please get in touch.
