Re: Reopening of The Hut York on Tuesday 16^th March 2021

I hope this letter finds you all keeping well and safe during this current lockdown.

• We will re open on Tuesday 16^th March 2021 at 11am
• The opening times will be 11am to 15.00, Monday to Friday
  • AM session 11.00-12.45 PM session 13.15-15.00
• For those who had booked for sessions in January 2021 prior to us closing, these will be carried over and we will be in touch with everyone to confirm previous bookings
• You must telephone 01904 652991 or email bookings@thehutyork.co.uk to book a place, as members will not be able to drop-in due to COVID 19. If no one answers the phone, please leave a message and a member of staff will call you back as soon as they can.  As we only have a limit on places we offer a first come first serve basis, where possible try to book early to avoid disappointment.
  • We do not take cash it is card payment or bank transfer only
  • You need to pay for your sessions up front to secure your place
  • If you cancel up to 48 hours in advance and we can book someone else in a credit note will be issued, for you to use at a later date, if you don’t cancel or don’t turn up then you will be charged and no credit note will be given.
• We are still asking you to wear masks unless you have an exemption card. We will let you know when this changes.
• Please bring your own food and drink as there will be no drinks available and keep your bags to just one.
• We have a water cooler – please bring a bottle or cup for use – we are trying to save the environment.
• On arrival, please enter The Hut by the far-right hand entrance (The Snug Door). There will be a one-way system in place, there will be clear signs and members of staff will be on hand to help you.
  • We ask that you queue up by the welcome sign keeping a social distance from the person in front of you
  • If you are late and the door is closed please ring the bell at The Snug door entrance and someone will come and let you in
  • On leaving The Hut we ask you leave with all you item, things can get forgotten if this happened please ring the door bell by the exit and a member of staff will help.
  • There is building work taking place outside so please take care
• We will continue to follow Government Guidelines, on arrival your temperature will be checked, a couple of questions about how your feeling will be completed by a member of staff. The Hut will be regularly cleaned throughout your time there and we ask for your patience.
• Some sessions have been put on hold until September when The Hubble will open – see our website or ask for a timetable for more details.

Some of these measures are temporary, and we will keep you updated on any changes that happen.

We are always here to help with any worries or concerns so please just ask.  In the meantime, all the staff and Trustees are looking forward to welcoming you back.
