I really enjoy socialising at The Hut and everyone has been extremely supportive since my beloved wife Mary passed away. Mary loved watching all the members enjoying themselves and she valued the time she spent listening Val Doonican on the laptop. Jonny, the activity co-ordinator, also helped me to plan a very special birthday party for her at The Hut, which really meant a lot to her and to me.
As a special goodbye from me I wanted to organise a lasting tribute to Mary. I decided a bench in the gardens next to The Hut was fitting and Emma (manager) was especially supportive in helping to organise it. – Bill
